April 27, 2026 marked 65 years since Sierra Leone's independence in 1961. SALDAC celebrated two days early, on Saturday, April 25, with the SALONE@65 Independence Party at Winston Heights-Mountview Community Association.
Tickets were $50 for adults, $25 for teens aged 12 to 18, and free for children 11 and under, so whole families could come.
